About This Quote

Love is precious, and shouldn't be wasted on every passing whim, or it will mean nothing by the time you truly wish to share it with someone who matters. The quote above is one of my favorites, because I can relate to it so much. When I got together with my boyfriend, Ethan, I was like a giddy child. Everything about him brought out the best in me. He was everything I dreamed of in a man; handsome, smart, funny, and sweet.

He loved me back and he did everything he could to show me that he loved me for who I was. But when something kept happening where we broke up shortly after things started getting serious between us (I'll leave out the details to avoid spoiling this book for anyone), I felt like I lost everything. I felt like all of the love that had built up between us was gone because of what happened between us.
